Hotel Iberostar Varadero is a modern complex located in a privileged location of Varadero beach and surrounded by tropical vegetation.
24-hour All-Inclusive Service includes national and international beverages. As well as main buffet restaurant, the hotel offers three specialities restaurants: Japanese, Mediterranean and Cuban cuisine. A reservation is required for all of them. Snacks are available in different places around the hotel during the day. For dinner please wear formal clothing (long trousers for gentlemen). There are lots of day and night time entertainment programs. A different show every night organised by entertainment team includes live performances by bands and groups. The hotel is ideal for families and has lots of entertainment for kids, including kid’s swimming pool, the Lucy´s Mini Club (age 4-12) with a varied entertainment programme including games, competitions and mini-show at night. Night time babysitting service is available for extra charge. Iberostar Varadero has 386 rooms, housed in 11 3-storey blocks, 324 of which are standard, 60 junior suites and 2 presidential suites. It is a lovely hotel on a wonderful beach. You can discover all the lovely sites of this colonial stile hote and enjoy long walks on the beach. © 2011 Nigel Hunt

The Iberostar Varadero was in tip-top condition (2011-03-07). The beautiful lush gardens were full of vibrant tropical plant species, attracting plenty of colourful & interesting birds.<br><br>This not so excessively large hotel, is also rather more cleverly laid-out than most; meaning getting to where you want to be is fairly quick & easy. Everything is just 2 or 3 mins walk from the rather perfectly formed central swimming pool(s).<br><br>The food was as good as one can expect from a 5 star all-inclusive, and with a good drinks selection; but sadly the cocktails I had were not made properly. Though the latter does give one the perfect excuse to go on a trip to the historic city of Matanzas, where the Hotel Velasco barman will serve you the best made piña colada you will find anywhere.<br><br>The Hotel Iberostar Varardeo had a pleasant & well attended disco, and mostly everyone seemed jolly on dance, drink and making new friends.
