Campismo Cerro de Caisimu has 38 comfortable "cabañas" for 4 and 6 persons, on the peak of an isolated hill and provides panoramic views of the Las Tunas province countryside. Closeby are many excellent hunting and fishing possibilities. It is ideal base from which to explore the whole province, its many nature reserves and cities such as Puerto Padre or the Manati town. In the Bahia de Manati, it is possible to appreciate the endemic and protected animals bearing the same name, a kind of ancient mammalian living in the estuaries of the Cuban rivers.

Guide to Cerro de Caisimu
Cerro de Caisimú took its name from the height where the installation lies. From there the visitor can watch one of the most beautiful sights of the Las Tunas region, at the East of the country.
Its commanding views perhaps not surprising meant it was the setting for numerous skirmishes between Revolutionary and Batista's forces.
